HADRIAN, aims to supply body shops via stockists with quality replacement panels that have the appropriate guarantees for use in Non Original Equipment Manufacturers (Non-OEM) tied insurance and third party repair work.

HADRIAN, formed in Northumberland, over 30 years ago and filled a sizeable gap in the market, but it was not until the acquisition of LMC (Wiltshire) that we became national as opposed to regional

Hadrian Replacement Body Panels
LMC Hadrian Wiltshire home of our replacement body panels

HADRIAN operates from two sites. Our factory / warehouse is based at Westbury, Wiltshire whilst our other large warehousing facility is near Hexham, Northumberland. This arrangement has enabled Hadrian to establish a comprehensive distribution network covering the entire U.K. mainland and Northern Ireland. This enables us to meet the demands of the market both in the U.K. and as exporters.

We have over thirty years experience in this industry and understand your needs. Hadrian has the technical ability to solve your problems and we are fully committed to and supportive of the Thatcham Process.

We comply with the high quality standards necessary and consequently have achieved Thatcham Accreditation, which enables us to sell Thatcham Accredited Parts.

Thatcham, have undertaken a quality accreditation programme for crash parts produced by independent manufacturers.

Visit the Thatcham site for further information regarding approved replacement body panels.
For the purposes of this exercise Thatcham has and will concentrate on front-end crash parts and rear bumpers for 3 to 10 year old cars, looking at the quality of parts produced, together with accuracy and ease of fit. Thatcham are insurance company owned and will concentrate on the volume selling parts, thus providing the greatest potential saving to insurers.

THATCHAM ACCREDITED STOCKISTS
Thatcham approved replacement body panels
Thatcham's accreditation process is independent, rigorous, fully documented and transparent, reflecting the acknowledged integrity with which all processes and research are conducted at the centre. They have sanctioned independent parts manufacturers to supply a specific range of crash parts. On successful completion of which, approved manufacturers are is-sued with tamper proof "Thatcham Accredited" stickers, which are affixed to the designated quality parts. The accreditation process does not just cover manufacturers. Recognising that the quality of distribution is vital to the post-production condition of the panels or bumpers, Thatcham has also extended the scheme to cover UK distributors. LMC Hadrian Ltd and Hadrian Car Panels Ltd are both accredited distributors and we have accredited product in stock. Accreditation will establish, stimulate and develop a market, which will give insurers an alternative supply of independently manufactured, accredited and cost effective, quality crash repair parts.

Peter Roberts, Chief Executive of The Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre, Thatcham, is enthusiastic and recently said:
"Insurers currently pay £1.4bn for the crash parts used to repair cars. Good quality lower cost parts are available from the independent sector and Thatcham's accreditation programme will allow insurers to specify these with confidence, thus containing the cost of accident damage claims and reducing the number of older vehicles that are currently written off on the basis of cost."
