A
large part of Hadrian’s business involves the importation
of panels, bumpers and lights etc from well established manufacturers
in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Denmark. We always endeavour
to single source.
Approximately 15% of our purchases come from within South
East Asia. This is mainly because Japanese cars are modified
with such rapidity.
Most of the “European Quality Driven” manufacturers
are based in traditional areas of motor manufacture, making
parts for OEMs and it may surprise you to know that many of
our imported panels are actually made by manufacturers that
supply original parts. As mentioned previously Hadrian has
successfully operated for over 33 years. During this period
we have formed business links with manufacturers of, the highest-grade
products available. For example Oran, Arregui, Maxicar, Phira,
Europarts, Embo and Isam, Each of these major suppliers have
been approached by Thatcham and represent very good illustrations
of innovative, professional companies that place integrity
and quality at the forefront of their philosophy.
HADRIAN
believes that the five most important factors necessary
to meet the demands of the market within the replacement
panel industry are: -
Service
Quality
Competitive pricing
Availability
A rapidly expanding range
Hadrian
consistently provide all five
No
new panel (and this includes both imported panels and
our own manufactured items) is introduced to the product
range without extensive prior testing. Random picking
and technical checks are also made as part of our continuous
quality control programme. The frequency with which any
particular design of a panel is checked will vary according
to the quality of the panels produced and being sold.
Panels produced from older tools are monitored more regularly
to ensure that pressings are not being affected by potential
wear. If any discrepancy is discovered then full checking
of remaining stocks is always undertaken.
There
is no point in supplying an automotive body repairer
with a cheaper panel, if the extra labour and materials
required to ensure that the panel fits properly, or
to achieve a satisfactory paint finish, ultimately cost
the body shop more than the saving made on the panel’s
initial purchase.
In the unlikely event that an unsatisfactory panel is
supplied, it is critical that a repairer loses as little
time as possible in effecting a repair and we offer
product support as follows.
I. A "no quibble" replacement
guarantee, so that any dispute regarding the suitability
or condition of any panel may be resolved after an acceptable
replacement has been supplied.
II. A large stock holding to make
sure that a re-placement is almost always available
immediately
III. A rapid and efficient delivery
service to the motor factors that we supply ensures
that the re-placement reaches the repairer with the
minimum of delay.
Nationwide
next working day delivery is carried out by out experienced
drivers using our dedicated fleet of vehicles. The vast
majority of our customers receive what is known as a
dead drop i.e. the parts are delivered during the night
to ensure that they are available to the bodyshop as
early as possible.
With
a range of products as vast as Hadrian’s, the requirement
for industry leading computer technology that provides
a live stock control system is absolutely vital. Our preferred
provider is MAM.
We also use digital phone technology, which enables us
to audit incoming and outgoing attempted calls. The phones
are directly linked to our server, which recognises the
incoming CLI and automatically presents the relevant account
information to the phone operator. This eliminates all
potential identification errors.
Hadrian
has an immense range of products and it is essential that
the customers are able to identify parts required quickly,
easily and reliably. To this end we have produced a fully
illustrated catalogue that is widely recognised as being
the most detailed and comprehensive reference guide currently
available. Throughout this web site you will find illustrations
of most of our parts. Copies of the full catalogue may
be purchased from either of our offices.
The popular mass selling Haynes DIY restoration and repair
manuals have incorporated illustrations reproduced under
licence from the HADRIAN catalogue - further independent
evidence of the high opinion within the trade of the quality
of the drawings.
